Monster Week Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Monster Week, an exciting art program designed for young creative minds who love drawing monsters, provided by Curious Together LLC, doing business as Kids Cartoon Academy (referred to as "we" or "us"). By participating in Monster Week, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Registration and Payment:

    1.1. To enroll in Monster Week, parents or guardians must complete the registration process with verified parental consent on behalf of their child, aged 8-14, and pay the program fee of $10.

    1.2 Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to participant withdrawal, technical difficulties, or any other reasons.

  2. Access and Participation:

    2.1. Monster Week consists of 6 live classes streamed into a private Facebook Group via Facebook Live. Participants will receive access to the private Facebook Group upon registration.

    2.2. Participants are expected to attend the live classes at the scheduled times. If a participant misses a live class, they can access replays on-demand tutorials for that session.

    2.3. Children can comment in the chat under parental supervision during live classes. Personalized feedback during live classes is not available due to technical limitations. Parents or guardians can interact with the instructor and other parents through the chat feature during live sessions on behalf of their child.

    2.4. Inappropriate behavior, including the use of profanity, spamming the chat, or using inappropriate language, will result in immediate removal from the live class and the Facebook Group without a refund.

    2.5. Parents or guardians are advised not to leave their child unattended while they are on Facebook Live, as participants will be under their parent's Facebook account. We do not recommend students have unsupervised access to Facebook.

    2.6. Access to replays, on-demand tutorials, and the private Facebook Group will be available until November 3, 2023]. After this date, participants will no longer have access to these resources.

  3. Content and Subject Matter:

    3.1. Monster Week covers a range of artistic subjects, including drawing characters from various series, cartoons, and games. Some of the monsters depicted may be scary and could potentially cause stress to some participants.

    3.2. Parents or guardians are encouraged to review the content of Monster Week to ensure it is suitable for their child's age and emotional well-being.

  4. Privacy and Security:

    4.1. We understand the importance of privacy and are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Monster Week is intended for students aged 8-14, and all students must have parental consent to participate.

    4.2. We do not collect personal information from students under the age of 13 without verified parental consent. Parents or guardians are responsible for providing consent and monitoring their child's participation in Monster Week.

    4.3. Participants are required to respect the privacy of other students in the Facebook Group and refrain from sharing personal information.

    4.4. All interactions within the Facebook Group must comply with Facebook's community guidelines and terms of service.

    4.5. Students should not post comments or engage in discussions in the Facebook Group without their parents' permission. Parents are encouraged to actively participate in the Group on behalf of their child.

    4.6. Any unauthorized sharing or distribution of Monster Week content is strictly prohibited.

  5. Liability and Responsibility:

    5.1. While we strive to provide a positive and creative learning experience, we disclaim any liability for technical issues, disruptions, or the student's experience during the program.

    5.2. Parents or guardians are responsible for monitoring their child's participation in Monster Week and ensuring their child's well-being during and after the program.

    5.3. By participating in Monster Week, parents or guardians agree to indemnify and hold Curious Together LLC, Kids Cartoon Academy, its instructors, administrators, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from their child's participation in the program.

  6. All Access Pass and Membership:

    6.1. The All Access Pass includes two additional live Zoom classes and access to the Kids Cartoon Academy Membership, which starts within 30 days of purchase, and registration is an optional purchase of $37. Refunds are available for All Access Pass and Membership only within 30 days of purchase, after which refunds will not be granted.

  7. Parental Consent and Purchases:

    7.1. All purchases made on behalf of students aged 8-14, whether for Monster Week or the All Access Pass, must be with verified parental consent.

By registering for Monster Week, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions, and you agree to abide by them.
