Spring Drawing and Shading Workshop

Improve your pencil drawing and shading skills and make an amazing rabbit character with the help of realism fine artist Amanda Kazemi

When: Sunday April 14 at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET / 7 pm

Replay included!

Join us for this hour-long workshop followed by a 30 minute Q&A session, in which fine artist Amanda Kazemi will reveal her fundamental drawing process plus how she accomplishes such realistic and lifelike textures in her art using only pencils!

You’ll learn how to:

  • draw a fun rabbit character with realistic lifelike textures (Jax from the popular Youtube show The Amazing Digital Circus)
  • Learn how to apply a realistic fur texture to all of your animal drawings
  • Block out basic shapes and proportions to start your drawings
  • Know what all those numbers and leads mean on the sides of the pencils and when and how to use each type

All you need is paper, a pencil, an eraser, and a qtip for blending.

  • Even better if you have a pencil set with varied leads like this or something similar, a blending stump, and a skinny eraser to create fine lines, but none of that is necessary.
  • No qtip? No problem. Just bring a Kleenex.

How it Works:

  • Immediately upon registering, you will receive the link to your course portal and the Zoom link via email.
  • Due to the digital nature of this class, there are no refunds.
