A spooky trick-or-treat scene where you're the hero
Halloween might be over November 1st, but the fun doesn't have to be.
For kids who love to draw monsters and cartoons, this is more than a traditional art class can offer.
Maggie and Daniel are throwing a costume party where everybody draws a spooky trick-or-treat scene where you're the hero.
We'll lead you step by step. Then you'll add your own details to make it truly yours.
Come in costume. Bring the candy to munch on while you draw.
What your kid will learn
KCA teachers Maggie Wehler and Daniel Grissom will teach some of the techniques that have helped our 4,000+ members get awesome results.
for drawing any character in any pose, in this drawing and every one after it
simple shapes first, then details, for any character, even if they're a beginner
where to place the hero, props, and background so a scene tells a story
what to do when a line goes wrong, so a mistake never means stop
A first taste of color theory that works with any coloring tools. Maggie colors with colored pencils. Daniel colors with alcohol markers. We follow the same principles, so bring whatever you have.
