How to Encourage Your Child to Rekindle Their Creativity
It’s natural for children to explore different interests, and their curiosities may change often. Supporting their artistic journey during these shifts helps them discover what truly inspires them and keeps their creativity alive. As a parent, you know best whether it’s time to move on or time to persevere.
If your child seems to be losing interest, here are some ways to support them:
1. Explore New Creative Outlets with Us
Sometimes, a new art medium or fresh supplies can reignite their passion. That’s why we offer Monthly Workshops with the Pros as part of your membership. These live, once-a-month sessions introduce kids to new media and techniques, such as watercolor, realistic graphite art, and more.
Personally, this is the best way to rekindle my own creativity.
👉 Have you attended one yet? New workshops are available every month, and replays of past Workshops are waiting for you in your Members Portal HERE.
These workshops are a great way to try something new and reignite a love for creative things.

3. Unlock Badges Through Challenges
Encourage your child to participate in challenges within our community. For example, the recent "Level 3 Challenge" had kids creating their own videogame worlds that represented their unique artistic journeys, challenges, and goals. Earning badges are be a fun and motivating way to spark creativity and give them a sense of direction.
4. Start with Art They Love
Browse the Draw Now Library for lessons featuring characters and art styles your child is most interested in. Use the search bar in the left sidebar or browse by category folders.
Need help finding a specific lesson? Simply post in the Help section of the community, and we’ll gladly link you directly to the lesson if we have it.
We're here to ensure you find exactly what you’re looking for.
