Spooky fun.
Real drawing skills.
The courage to keep drawing.
A Halloween-themed art class on Zoom where kids learn real drawing skills and gain creative confidence. We’ll draw a fun trick-or-treat scene where your child is a hero, growing stronger with grit and a growth mindset, more motivated than ever to make the awesome art only they can. Plus, the day after Halloween means you’re welcome to wear your costume and munch on your candy from the night before, all the while making some epic art you’re proud of.

A spooky trick-or-treat scene where you're the hero
On Sunday, November 1, Maggie and Daniel are throwing a costume party where everybody draws.
Together, we'll draw a spooky trick-or-treat scene where you're the hero, taking down your worst creative fears. We'll lead you step by step. Then you'll add your own personalized details to make it truly yours.
A wonky line? It might become part of the costume. A funny expression? Even better. Your child leaves with a finished piece and proof that a mistake doesn't mean stop.
Come in costume. Bring the candy to munch on while you draw.
Your workshop details
Your Zoom link is waiting in the Members Portal. You'll also find it in the Members Calendar and the Members Community.
One registration covers everyone at your table. Kids, siblings, and grown-ups draw together on one Zoom link.
Sunday, November 1 at 1 PM ET / 6 PM UK. Grab your supplies, your costume, and your candy, and join a few minutes early.
What your kid will learn
Maggie and Daniel share their secret method for drawing any character in any pose. Kids use it in this drawing and every one after it.
Simple shapes first, then details. The same step-by-step recipe works for monsters, pets, heroes, or anything else they dream up.
Where to place the hero, the props, and the background so every scene they draw tells a story at a glance.
What to do when a line goes wrong, so a mistake becomes part of the drawing instead of a reason to quit.
Maggie colors with colored pencils. Daniel colors with alcohol markers. Same principles, so bring whatever you have.
Grown-ups have fears too, so pull up a chair. One workshop, one Zoom link, however many people are at your table. Drawing side by side like this is unique bonding time for the whole family.

Is this really free for members?
Yes. It's included in your membership, along with the replay. There's nothing to buy.
Where is the Zoom link?
In your Members Portal, Members Calendar, and Members Community. Register with Zoom once and it covers everyone at your table.
What if we can't make it live?
You still get everything. The replay lands in your portal under Workshops With The Pros Replays. Pause it, rewind it, do it over two afternoons instead of one.
What ages is this for?
It's a family workshop, so all ages are welcome. Younger artists have more fun with a grown-up drawing alongside them.
Is it scary?
Not at all. It's friendly Halloween fun for the whole family.
What if we don't have special supplies?
Draw with what you have. A pencil, an eraser, paper, and any colors you already own are genuinely enough.
